Old charm and internal courtyard, overall friendliness. While road outside is busy, once you are in it is quite, I love slow morning and coffee at courtyard. Breakfast rotates during the week, and I like that it's not that busy!
A bit a noise road outside (it is not fixable in location sense) but great that hotel has a good windows which are block all these noise.

Proximity to a wonderful restaurant, clean comfortable room, friendly staff and even friendly other hotel guests, proximity to Route 287, location between two points used in past and hope to stay there in the future.

This is such a lovely old inn. The location is convenient to the towns of Basking Ridge and Bernardsville, and not far from Morristown. We stay here quite often when visiting the area as the bedrooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast has always been complementary for us and provides a hot option, pastries, fresh fruit, and new coffee set up that dispenses several types of choices, including a flat white, which I just happened to love!
I can’t think of anything that I did not like about our stay.

Proximity. Pure room was nice.
Air conditioner difficult to control and loud. Party leaving after an event were very loud outside our room and woke me up at 10:30. We mentioned we had our reception there years back and they didn’t even acknowledge the statement. Guess they have too many weddings there for it to be exceptional to them.
