Fountain Beach Resort - Daytona Beach

I always love coming to the Fountain. I love everything about it. I love how close we were to the ocean

The room we stayed in this time was not really taken care of by the owners. Not real clean. Everything outdated. Not the usual when I stay here, but we were so close to the ocean, we didn't care. 🙃

The location was awesome, right on the beach.

The rooms were old and in disrepair. The ceiling near the balcony was falling in a large area. Rust near the air-conditioning unit.

Love the music, the tiki bar in the pool and beach Access

Our second day there we found a German roach. The shower had hair on the walls and the shower curtain.

Loved the location and the staff was wonderful. The tiki bar was an added bonus. The drinks and food were really good. Our beds were comfortable and they had good pillows. Lobby was gorgeous and would be a good sitting area for families. The pool was huge and plenty of chairs both in the sun and shade. We also loved the DJ and the live music in the afternoons.

Construction was going on and yes we had been told about it beforehand. However we were not informed the construction was going on right outside of our room therefore we could not use our balcony. We were promised once the construction stopped for the day our balcony would be cleaned off but it wasn't. There was a layer of dust and dirt which blew into our room and all over the floor. We requested a second cleaning of the balcony which was done quickly but the dust in the room and floor never seemed to go away.
