Great location. Rockport's an ideal base to go birdwatching at Padre Island and Aransas Wildelife Refuge. The nearby Mexican restaurant was pretty good.
The first night we had a very squeaky bed but the personnel was awesome about it and we changed rooms next day. Breakfast could be better.

Although older faculty and has been through a few hurricanes, pleasantly painted and kept up beautiful.
Our bed/mattress was very uncomfortable as well as the sofa couch. Almost fell due to neighbors a/c leaking on the ground right when walking out of our room.

Close to eating places and funeral home. We came to Rockport for a funeral.
Room was very clean. Tv would not work, even after maintenance man replaced. I suspect the internet connection is not up to speed.

Nothing it needs complete redoing inches rooms. Lamps are rusty chair is greasy on the arms and stains paint on baseboards mirror on restroom door missing and they didn't clean the room. They had party's by the pool that went on and the phone didn't work.
Nothing about this place and will not ever stay again.

Staff was friendly, the room smelled freshly clean, and the grounds were well maintained. Continental breakfast was delicious!

It was dirty with mold and stained sheets. The decor had rust. The manager was rude and not helpful. They deactivated our keys not even 2 hours after checking in so we had no access to a room we paid for.

It was spacious
The floor “sweated” and was wet . The air conditioner made a horrible noise so you couldn’t hear anyone talk . Had to basically turn it down so it didn’t go on while we were asleep.

I liked the beds.
The T.V. channels didn't come in clear and the WiFi was weak. I didn't have enough towels in my room and the toilet paper roll was broken and the toilet paper kept falling off the back of the toilet.

My room didn't have sheets or pillows for pull out bed. We killed a total of 4 huge roaches my kids were scared to fall asleep.

Easy access from road and close to beach
Beds were not comfortable, pillows were horrible, breakfast online shows assorted cereals but it was only one waffle maker for everyone to use, bland eggs and bacon and toast. Juice machine left a residue in the juice, “cook” was not very personable and you have to prove that you are a guest to get food and have a paper signed off.

Nothing. As soon as we walked into the room, I saw two small bugs crawling on the nightstand. I had a terrible feeling. I pulled back the covers on the first bed and there were several bed bug crawling around. I even filmed a video of it. I immediately went to the front office and reported the situation. I also demanded my money back but the office staff refused. I am very upset and have reached out directly to Choice Hotels Corporate. I know they offer various levels of comfort at the different hotels, but cleanliness should be a standard across the board for ALL motels/hotels.

He told us point blank that we were wrong, there were no bugs depsite the video that I showed him and despite finding evidence in the room after we reported it. He tried to tell us these were not bedbugs but another type of bug. Seriously? A bug is a bug. I don't want any type of bug in my bed when I'm sleeping. And it WAS bedbugs. I have proof.

Very quiet for relaxation and rest. Eateries/restaurants were located very closely to the hotel. Able to attend church at a nearby area and as scheduled for our enjoyment. Thank 🧒
No free breakfast to accommodate our needs, but we e joked the nearby restaurants to.

Needs a lot of work. Our front door didn’t close right. Our restroom did not look clean.

THE LOCATION WAS GOOD
THE ROOMS COULD HAVE BEEN CLEARER WAS INFORMED THEY WERE SHORT STAFF AND HAD ONLY ONE PERSON CLEANING ROOMS. NOT THE EMPLOYEE'S FAULT.

It’s was very nice and welcoming
By choice I didn’t like that I wasn’t able to eat their continental breakfast cause I wasn’t hungry when we left very early to the beach.

we had a ground floor room as requested. It was also a good location.
The bolt lock did not work and the maintenance man was not available. The young man serving at the desk attempted to fix it and was very friendly. Also, the room could have been cleaner. There was a clump of hair underneath the laboratory, and there was small amounts of debris on the edge of the floor.

Chipped paint behind the top of a chair - psint drops on a dirty floor duts and dirt in the corners of the room no stopper in the tub - shower only - rust spots on the base of the table lamp. Counter was dirty
