Days Inn by Wyndham Indiana Benjamin Franklin Highway

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet. We were also able to check in early. It's in the same plaza at Walmart and a McDonald's is within walking distance. So, lots close by. It's only 3-4 miles from the University too.

The facility is definitely dated. When you first walk in, the lobby looks like a Motor Motel from Vegas in the 80's. Gambling machines are in the lobby and it's small. The complimentary breakfast was Hostess Honey Buns and chocolate covered donuts. I used the last of the coffee creamer that was from the grocery store. However, McDonald's is within walking distance so we went there for breakfast. Definitely not the fanciest place, but it was all that was left by the time my son told us when his fraternity family weekend was. (It was also IUP's Family Weekend hence the lack of rooms.) We didn't hate it though. It wasn't overly expensive and did the trick for a one night stay. If you are OK with a hotel that is no frills and reasonably priced, then this fits the bill!

Property is in a convenient location, affordable for last minute and the staff were very nice.

The rooms were standard hotel rooms but the carpets were extremely dirty the bathroom had literal mold around and behind the base of the toilet. The shower faucet was broken and there is no breakfast not that we would have eaten it anyway.

The price was good

The bathroom toilet set was not hinged in the back and there was a shoe string hanging over the sprinkler system

The bed was comfortable

The hotel really needs renovated - there were two sinks - one did not work - the pipe holding the shower head was loose - the outlet on one side of the bed did not hold a plug tightly - the carpet was dirty - the room it smelled of cigarette smoke and marijuana - I noticed a few rooms had put a towel outside their door on the floor to block the smells
