Clarence Inn Extended Stay

Comfortable, clean, lots of hot water, very nice staff-Maria. Felt safe and reasonably quiet, parking right outside. Supermarkets close by. Comfortable beds.

There was not an ironing board, or kettle to make tea, so we used a saucepan to boil water. The front screen door didn’t have a handle to close it properly. The property is a little tired, however, Maria’s kindness and friendliness made up for these things. The price was very reasonable for this area.

Location

Well maintained, very clean and good location with easy access to plenty of food options close by. Really liked the pre check-in process — we received a text the afternoon before we arrived with our room number and self check-in procedure. This made arrival super fast & efficient.

This is an older property, probably built in the 1950s that has been well maintained & updated, but the rooms were very small. The only place to store our bags were on the beds with us. There is not much the management can do about the physical layout & it appears they’ve done the best you can given the circumstances, but it was tough fitting in the room. The locks on the door were minimal — maybe this is a very safe area & this isn’t an issue, but it may be unnerving to some guests. We did not have any safety concerns during our stay
