It’s old and not well maintained. The doors would close well.

We liked the location of it being in town and near so many attractions that we wanted to see.

Not much of anything actually. The staff were extremely helpful, room was clean and it met our needs nicely after a very bad experience at an Airbnb the day before.

All was good.

Housekeeping didn't make our bed, until we requested it.

I enjoyed the accessibility to the city of Helen nearby, as well as the strong water pressure, large fridge, microwave, and storage space. The different option of indoor lighting was also nice, and allowed for us to leave the lights low when we didn't want to open a window for those in the parking lot to see us.

I did not enjoy how the bed felt mildly damp, which caused my clothes to feel so after a nights sleep as well. I'm unsure if the freon within the AC unit is bad, but it was slightly uncomfortable. There was also a visible crack within the ceiling, and a few of the outlets didn't allow a charger to plug in. It was also a shame we only had one window which looked directly into the parking lot. While not under the staffs control, there was a family that stayed next to us who was incredibly loud during quiet hours, and continuously camped out and tailgated directly in front of their room with a large cooler and lawn chairs. The walls were thin, so we heard everything they said and did, including their TV they left on multiple times.
