The staff was so kind!! I wasn’t feeling well and they were compassionate and eager to help any way they could. They really were so sweet and kind and helpful!

The neighboring room was several kids and the parents slept separate from them (I’m assuming) because early in the morning the parents started banging loudly on their door and yelling at them to “get up because it was time to leave”! Since I wasn’t feeling well, I was trying to continue sleeping, which was impossible with all the commotion. But none of this was the staff fault. Just unfortunate for us.

The location

The bathroom needs updating and the anti break-in locks on the door looked stressed (as if put to use a few times). Over priced as well. Complimentary breakfast was lacking even at 7am.

Staff was great.

The pool wasn't working.

The room was clean with comfortable beds. It had a good iron and ironing board. The Cottage Grove Inn is within walking distance to just about any kind of food you would like. The staff were super friendly.

Breakfast was okay, about what you expect with a "free" breakfast. Was not fancy, but towels and linens were very nice. Right by the freeway, but quiet in the room.

The only thing that could have better was the weather. But I don't think they have much control over that.

Front desk staff was nice. Jacuzzi tub was a lovely addition and for a really good price.

More pillows would have been cool. Also plastic silverware would have been nice.

Cottage Grove Inn is an older motel that has been fixed up to be really nice. Clean, comfortable, modern bedding and amenities. Very roomy and comfy. Nice breakfast room with good breakfast choices.

Really no complaints.
