South Shore Inn

Location was super close to Cedar Point (like maybe 7ish mins) and the rooms were nice and good price. Staff was super friendly and helpful when our TV remote wouldnt work. Even tho it was after midnight they still came and helped us get it solved. Breakfast was ok, not many options but they did have pancakes. Seemed to be plenty of parking and easy to get to our rooms. Beds were comfortable enough for a night of sleep after a 12hr day at CP. Room seemed pretty clean for the most part.

There were a lot of ants in our room, esp in the bathroom and by the sink. Had to pick up quite a bit of them and flush them. Some seemed dead or dying so idk if they sprayed before or have traps somewhere but wasnt a fan. Wish breakfast had a bit more options.

We were able to get rooms right next to each other and close to the stairway. The complimentary breakfast was also nice and very appreciated,

The staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful. The room, the pool, and the property in general were kept very clean and well taken care of. Perfect location! A quick drive to Cedar Point , restaurants, and stores.

I really enjoyed everything about my stay here. The only improvement I can think of would be updating furniture and window treatments. They are outdated, but very clean and maintained.

The tv glitched a lot. Was a standard motel room was equivalent to a cheaper option
