We loved everything about it! We wanted to stay in a historic, haunted hotel, and it did not disappoint!! You walk out the front door and you're in the middle of the iconic city of Deadwood. You feel like you walked back in time. At night we enjoyed the casino and doing some ghost adventuring. We would definitely recommend!
The only thing we did not like was the parking.

We just went with the whole premise of being in Deadwood. It was fantastic to be in the heart of everything. The room was nostalgic and clean overlooking the main street you feel steeped in history. A great stay -- the historic sites and re-enactments are right outside - and quick drives to very interesting other townsl We are glad we stayed.
Would have been nice to have a lobby space but all is casino -- understandable though -- it keeps the city alive!

Location was perfect.
Parking was horrible. We were in a U-Haul and told we had to park at the towns Visitor Center only to be ticketed the next morning. We went to have breakfast inside the hotel only to be told that my small suitcase was not allowed and I would need to hike all the way back to the truck at the visitor center. Needless to say, we are somewhere else. Will not return to stay here.
