Clean, large rooms. Good value and good location. Pet friendly. The hotel has a good restaurant and bar. The breakfast was good and goes until 10am. The story that is detailed throughout this historic hotel is very interesting. The fact that they are undergoing a multi million dollar renovation to bring the hotel back to it's original splendor is exciting. We can't wait to see what it will be like upon completion. The construction did not interfere with our stay.
We were very satisfied, but feel that there should be better lighting in the hotel rooms

Overall, it was a decent place, and the free parking was a great advantage.
The hotel could use some renovation and better attention to cleanliness. Unfortunately, the shower had quite a bit of hair left behind from the previous guests, which was unpleasant.

Location- we were there for LLWS
Felt dirty. I know it's an older hotel but they are charging premium pricing. Our room was more of a motel feeling off to the back, not part of the actual hotel. The pool seemed very sad- I did not allow my kids to swim in it. The free breakfast was not good at all. It is in the restaurant connected to the hotel but they serve you the imitation egg style buffet breakfast.
