Super 8 by Wyndham East Stroudsburg - Poconos

The price was affordable. Stephanie (the check-in person) was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower worked well, and we felt safe at this location.

A hot buffet breakfast would have been nice since the breakfast was only an extended continental breakfast (with cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc.). Although we weren't expecting a 5-star motel, either. So, we were happy that we had fine accommodations that did not break the bank.

Staff were wonderful. Disappointed there were no USB connections to charge devises. Over all good value for the money.

The staff were pleasant. I was able to check in late. They did have breakfast no hot food except for toast, muffins or bagels. Hotel was close to familiar stores and take outs.

I reserved a queen bed which was more like a full size bed. The bathroom recked of cat or some strong odor that lingered into the sleeping area if bathroom door wasn’t close. The bathtub wasn’t clean to take a bath. I did ask front desk if I could change my room she said they didn’t have which I didn’t see why not because I didn’t go on a busy day. I stayed Monday to Wednesday. I managed to make do with the room but I do not see myself reserving a room again there. The saying is true you get what you pay for. Don’t get me wrong nice place inside pretty decent and somewhat clean. I just couldn’t take the smell that was in my room. Lucky for me I had a can of Lysol but that didn’t help much and the a/c seemed to make the smell worst so I don’t know if it was coming out the a/c as well.

Located right off the highway - room was cleaned well. Front desk staff was extremely friendly. Price was very cheap.

Smelled awful in the hallways. Carpet on floors skeeved me out. Locals seemed to be hanging out there and they seemed a bit seedy. Price was low so I guess you get what you pay for.
