Super8 is occupied with homeless people and they shifted to next hotel . Still place was not safe

Decent room size.
No house keeping.
Breakfast timing 6:30 am to 9:30am, breakfast used to get finished before 8:30am and then things were not re-filled. Rooms were not cleaned for my 6 days long stay. The carpet inside the room was stinky. No internet signal inside the room because of which I had to buy a phone as well as a local sim amounting to USD 125. I had only bread butter for 6 days.
The property was taken over by the government as welfare housing because of which I had serious safety concerns about which I complained to booking.com but didn’t get any favourable response. I had sleepless nights there.
I left a day early from the property.

The owner would wait til 8am to putt 630 bfast out n the hot food after 8 when most ppl are gone for work to be cheap. I already paid with my room n he's rude

found cigarette lighter outside window and a very decomposed pork chop bone on the same window sil as lighter. bathroom was a little dirty mainly shower

hallway and room smelled like cigarettes mattress was disgusting, room rate up-charged due to busy night. left 10 minutes after we got there with $120 down the drain due to no refund.

the man at the front desk was extremely hard to understand. he also charged me $40 cash for early check in. (1hour) and put the $ in his pocket

Clean room, beddings and bath.
Has TV,. Fridge, microwave.
Bed was comfortable.
Expensive. (225 CAD for for a double room with 2 beds).
2. The receptionist/caretaker has forgotten to smile(Punjabi I guess since he was wearing a Turban and had long beard)
He must have gone through some really traumatic experience. My sincere sympathy to him and condolences to his long lost happiness.
Unfortunately whatever trauma he went through also instigated him to make the customer feel wrong for his(receptionist's) mistakes.
3. First time when the tap was turned on, the water was yellow. Had to let it run for a while till it cleared up.
Breakfast options could have been better.
1. Boiled eggs(Chilled! Don't know if they were frozen after they were boiled. Not sure how old).

Did not have breakfast
It was not the cleanest. Visible cobwebs and debris on the floor of the room in multiple locations and there were holes in the bathroom ceiling above the shower area. Some contracting maintenance with spackle and web tape would help. Sheets were clean upon inspection but looked very rumpled which made me question the sanitation but as I stated they were clean and laundered.

Not much
It smelled like weed the entire time we were there even though it was a no smoking room. We door dashed food and there was no silverware in the bag and they wouldn't even give us a fork or a spoon. They said they didn't have any even though there were plenty at the "breakfast"
