Best Western Sundowner

The clerk was very informative and being we needed a ground floor room, he did upgrade us with no charge to an open one!! Very gracious. The breakfast was wonderful. A huge selection of.

The tub was slippery and a little scary , especially for an older person. Also the tub is taller than average so stepping out made me nervous also the were e is a hand tail. No elevators.

The breakfast is excellent. There are 2 pools (one inside & one outside). I did not use either but they looked clean. They have cookies in the front hall in the afternoon/evening for snacks.

My initial room smelled like a damp, mildewy wash clothe. Thankfully they found me a new room. The WiFi in the new room was a bit sketch - did not work all the time and could not be found by my phone and tablet all the time. There is a laundry on site - yeah. But the ice maker in the same room is leaking. I was told by the staff they are waiting on a part. So they deal with the leak but putting towels around it. The workout room is ok (one treadmill, one elliptical & one one bike with some free weights and a universal machine - that’s the good) but towels are not always there and the room is hot. Thankfully there are fans.

Clean and comfortable, close to the Interstate. Indoor and outdoor pools were great but we didn’t get a chance to use them. Breakfast was definitely a good experience.

Desk clerk when we checked in was kind of scruffy and unkempt looking. Performed his duties but never made eye contact.

The grounds were kept up nicely. Bed was very comfortable.

Key card did not work in outside entry. The bathroom fan not working. Shower caddies for shampoo etc.. empty. Shower made an intermittent screeching noise. Hot tub covered up. Comfortable stay, but could use some attention.
