Limited menu for breakfast and dinner but food was prepared fresh and very good. Our two bedroom cabin was clean, well furnished and comfortable beds. Very convenient to West Yellowstone and park entrance.

the location was beautiful. very quiet and the location was perfect for getting into the west gate of Yellowstone
I thought we were going to be in a cabin but instead were out upstairs in the lodge. we had to drag all our luggage for two plus two dogs up the stairs. the staff were kind enough to help us but it was a bit much after a long drive day

Great location after a yellowstone visit. Fun restaurant and Under Canvas camping on the same property

The entire experience at this Ranch was outstanding from the time we arrived until we left. The person at the front desk was super welcoming and gave us a great overview of all of the things available at the site. We enjoyed some live music down by the river and there were also a range of other activities we could join in to if we wished. The rooms were lovely and the location is outstanding.
Everything was perfect

Carene the receptionist is very helpful and pleasant
No house keeping comes, there is no Air conditioning, so we are here at 80 - 90 degrees. We can’t sleep. The only thing they would tell you is open the window

I was surprised with how much space I had in the studio cabin. I had all of the supplies to light a fire but I never had to because the room was warm and cozy.

The lodge was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was great and the rooms were very nice. The morning sunrise was absolutely stunning.
We were in room 7 and there was a couple in room 6. After 10pm, we settled down to sleep and we could hear every word from the couple’s conversation. Throughout the night they got progressively louder and more distracting. I went over to kindly ask them to quiet down and they slammed the door on me and went back to their party. We could hear them having sex throughout the entire night and we had to explain the sounds to our four year old son. No one from our family got any sleep at all. Everything else about the lodge and the property was amazing. It was just the inconsiderate guests next door that made our stay quite miserable.

The cabin was cute and cozy with a gorgeous view. The staff was so friendly! one of the members Ron made reservations for us at Sophie’s Bistro ( he didn’t have to do that). Both Jeff and Kegan were just super accommodating . All of the staff members offered to take out our trash and carry our bags and even shovel the stairs. Customer service was just … so so great ! We will be back next summer !

Beautiful decor and good breakfast.
Booked this hotel specifically for the bath tub, after a long and cold day of hiking a horseback riding. Unfortunately we checked in and were forced to take cold showers instead, since there was no hot water. 😕 The shower hadn't even been cleaned, as it had a used washcloth still hanging inside.

Everything! This place is incredible! We stayed in a cabin and it was perfect. It's clean, cozy, the view is amazing, the food was sooo delicious and the staff is extremely friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place. We all agreed we definitely want to come back again.
Absolutely nothing.

Beautiful scenery
I waited to review this stay. We had a 1 BR cabin and it worked perfectly for us. The downer was the eating accommodations. We prepaid our breakfast thru booking.com and the restaurant was in the building behind the main lodge, not in the lodge. No big deal until we told them that we had prepaid for breakfast and they didn't know it. They did honor it but we were told that Booking.com never pays them for it. So we felt bad about taking food from them if they were not going to be paid for it. It did damper the spirit, and what a shame they are letting the main building go down, pool down, spa down. SAD

I liked it being remote, fire pit, responsive staff and restaurant on site.
The rooms were more dated than I recalled in the pictures and beds were uncomfortable.

The location was amazing! Our room was wonderful. Loved the restaurant - both dinner and breakfast were great.
Need to have real cream or milk both at the lodge and restaurant. AC would be preferred.

Nothing
Terrible dirt road with potholes the whole way, rude staff, $800 for 2 nights and nothing to offer. Would not reccomend

Location was good. It was rustic which was what we were looking for. Two different views from room, nice. Room refrigerator a plus. Pleasant staff.
No comp. breakfast which they advertise heavily, in fact no breakfast. Our doors to the balcony only opened 12 inches each. Warped boards. No soda machine on site. Advertise direct TV, nah broken down for the 3 days we were there.300.00 a night was over priced for this hotel.

The fish dinner was outstanding.
The water pipes with the showers heard at 10 pm, 10:30 pm 11:00 pm, 11:30 Pm and 11:45 PM.
The manager Robert treating me in a blaming mod when I called him the next morning and told him I would not be staying a second night.

Hotel was pretty remote was lovely quiet in the evening/morning. For that we slept pretty well, that is the ONLY POSITIVE THING. The only good thing about staying here was that we got to experience Yellowstone National Park, what an amazing place and well worth a visit, walking, wildlife watching, horse back riding, geyser watching, all of these more than make up for the huge disappointment that was the Bar N Ranch!
When I read all the reviews, I thought this was the place to go, not a huge amount of choices in West Yellowstone so hotels are all over priced. We had booked the queen room (room 1) which I knew would be small, but didn't realise just how small it was. Very disappointed with the room overall, bed wasn't all that comfortable and small, there was little or no room to put any of our stuff out ( 4 nights stayed there) no room for more than one medium sized case. Only two small bed side lights made the room very dark. Bathroom was in need of a thorough clean and an update. The shower curtain was half hanging off and the shower didn't work very efficiently, the bath itself had seen better days and looked grubby, by the toilet there was a plunger, which I understand toilets do get blocked from time to time, but to have it there in the bathroom just made it look unhygienic, not something I expect when paying nearly £300 per night to have to do myself! That's what hotel maintenance is for!! The breakfast that was offered wasn't great but because there was nowhere else to grab anything to eat and the drive into the nearby town would take 1/2 hour we didn't really have any choice but to eat there. The restaurant also offers dinner in the evening, don't bother food wasn't great, after the first night, we made sure we ate in the town before heading back to the hotel each night. Every day we requested clean towels but each time had to request the ones that were missing, again not a difficult request! After just generally talking to the general manager we asked when the how long the ranch had been there, since the mid 80's, explains now why it was so dated and in need of a complete refurb! So disappointed, wanted to leave but hotel had already taken full payment for the room and didn't want the hassle of trying to get our money back and then try and have to rebook a hotel room in the town which was very busy.
