Mansions on Fifth

We loved the ease of checking in, the staff was pleasant, and it was easy to find our room.

Parking was a challenge but we managed and all was well.

Large, clean, standard hotel room with comfortable bed, though window view was obstructed by A/C equipment. Excellent housekeeping. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful neighborhood.

Just a hotel room - no historic ambiance. A noisy party on the main floor kept me awake on the 3rd floor. No food available for guests in the evening; no restaurants in walking distance.

It was hard to park. We went around and parked in the back but it was confusing on how to get back into the hotel. We did finally figure it out.

The location is amazing. The mansion itself is absolutely gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

After driving five hours to get to the hotel,we arrived at five and were told they were having an event from five to nine and we were not allowed in the lobby at these times. I did not know this prior to getting there. After getting settled into the room, we were tired, hungry, and confused as to how if we ordered food delivered, how we would get it. I called to the front desk and they informed me that once the food got there that I could come down to get it and go back up. Once the event started, the music was so loud on top of the commotion of the people that we had to be loud in the room when talking to each other. That lasted for almost four hours. By the time it was over, I could finally relax. I absolutely think it should be advertised if this hotel is having an event that night. I would not recommend staying on an event night. Also, for a king bed, the pillows were comfortable, however, the bed was a bit stiff.
