A wonderful stay in the Florida Keys – highly recommended! We absolutely loved our stay at Captain Pip’s Marina & Hideaway! The location is fantastic, right on the water, and it gives you that authentic, relaxed Florida Keys atmosphere that you simply cannot get in a standard hotel. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The whole property has a unique and charming character, surrounded by the marina, boats and beautiful views. It was especially enjoyable to relax outside and take in the peaceful waterfront atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed having a restaurant right on site, which made the experience even more convenient and enjoyable. The possibility of renting kayaks, paddle boards and other water equipment is a fantastic bonus for anyone who wants to experience the Keys from the water. The location is also perfect for exploring Marathon and the surrounding Florida Keys, including the Seven Mile Bridge and the beautiful beaches in the area. What we appreciated most was that Captain Pip’s feels authentic rather than overly commercial or luxurious. It has personality, charm and a wonderful laid-back atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Captain Pip’s Marina & Hideaway to anyone visiting the Florida Keys. A truly memorable experience!

Lots to do, several fishing spots, the attached bar/restaurant with live music was great, the Aqualodge was clean, felt spacious, amazing A/C and the view off the back porch was beautiful!

The space was a good size with a big shower.

The pull out couch was very uncomfortable to sleep on with no cushion and you could feel the springs. The biggest disappointment was the pool. The first day the pool was green and the other days the water was very cloudy. It looked unsafe to swim in. It is nice to be able to cool off in the pool after a long boat or sunny day and we were unable to do that. I understand the property is older, but the bathroom had some dirty spots and should be cleaned better.
