Location was really great. Once there we did not need the car as we walked everywhere. The desk staff was really friendly and made good suggestions.
Minimal staff for the restaurant made for a mediocre experience. The prices were high enough that I expected much better service.

Hotel was close to coffee shopping, bars, restaurants and shopping. A quick 3-5 minute walk to anywhere we wanted to go
No complaints

French toast good; real maple syrup a plus.
Pancakes slightly undercooked (pasty, when chewed). Bacon and coffee top notch. Servers friendly and responsive.
Hate the new trend substituting duvets for blankets. Besides, bed had only one sheet.

It was very close to where I needed to go
The basic services that I expected were not adequate. After searching for a working ice machine late in the evening I had to go to the front desk where someone got some ice for me. In the morning the coffee maker in my room did not work. I realize this seems like a small inconvenience but getting dresses and having to go to the lobby for coffee made for a rough start to my day.
And the water smelled so chlorinated it was impossible to drink and I did not want to bath in it either.
