Close to things, convenient, walk across the non busy street to ocean for a walk, good rates, good TV, great shower, quick elevator, friendly helpful staff, bar on site

Need to change out lamp shades on floor lamps—showing a bit too much age. Some tile/wallboard repairs in bathroom needed

Nothing to complain at all

! Our stay at Cabana Shores Hotel in Myrtle Beach was truly special. We came here to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend it with my wife and family. The location is fantastic. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and we really enjoyed how peaceful and uncrowded the beach was. Having the pool available was another great option for those times when we didn’t want to come back from the beach covered in ocean water. The room was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable as well. And yes, call me crazy, but I travel with a small black light because you can never be too careful! 😂 Everything passed my little test, which made me feel even better about our stay. There’s also a small bar area just behind the reception desk, which was a nice little feature. We learned that the hotel used to offer breakfast but discontinued it a couple of years ago. That really wasn’t a problem for us because the receptionist was incredibly helpful and gave us a list of local restaurants within a short distance. Her willingness to take the time to help us really meant a lot. What made this stay special, though, was the overall feeling. The staff made us feel welcome, and our entire family genuinely enjoyed being here. Sometimes a hotel is just a place to sleep, but this was different. It became part of the memories we made celebrating 18 years of marriage. And apparently, my wife agrees because she already told me she wants to come back to Cabana Shores for her birthday next year! ❤️ A huge thank-you to the entire Cabana Shores staff for helping make our 18th wedding anniversary so memorable. We came to Myrtle Beach to celebrate 18 years together, and we’re leaving with some wonderful memories — and already looking forward to coming back. Hats off to you all. We’ll see you again! ❤️

There was a roach in the room. Has to make sure to shake out everything before leaving. Our balcony door would not lock. The beds were hard as bricks
