Great rural location and a earthy-feel property. Was more of a backpacker hostel feel.
The strong christian theme is a little off-putting. Seemed a little over-priced. The breakfast that was offered was not my style, I would rather have paid less and sorted my own food.

Relaxing, welcoming, super friendly staff! Just felt at home! Nice view of the ocean and mountains too!

The breakfast was a nice variety of simple healthy snacks. I like having my own separate cabinet with my own plates, bowls and utensils. I enjoy the view of Haleakala while I make my coffee.
The bathroom and shower area are well stocked and kept very clean. It’s nice that they provide extra shampoo, toothpaste etc in case you forgot to pack your own.
I’ve stayed here several times because it’s the best value and I’m never disappointed. I do think it’s time to invest in some softer towels.

Confortable beds, self check-in, the nice garden and the parking
The shared bathroom was dirty when we arrived at 3 p.m., and the kitchen was not clean either (fridge and microwave).
Found a tablet on top of my bed when I checked-in.
It was also noisy, we could hear the dogs on the first floor running around in the evening. Early in the morning, someone was also shouted about what the dog had done.
For the level of service and overall experience, it was a bit expensive.
