Great location for visiting the Mesa Verde. They let us check in early during a hail storm. Breakfast was tasty and had many options.
Large tour groups stayed at the hotel and the breakfast food was not adequate in amount to meet everyone's needs. They would bring out small amounts at a time that was not sufficient for the number of people there. Empty platters and people waiting for food to come out. I felt bad for the construction workers who needed a good meal before going out to work. Larger batches of food needed when your groups are there.
Rooms are in need of refurbishing.

Room was clean and comfortable. Reasonable price. Hot breakfast. Property is old, but room was well maintained. Great location on Cortez’s Main Street and highway to Mesa Verde NP. Staff was helpful.
Swimming pool and Jacuzzi had film on top of water. Maybe sunscreen from unwashed bodies. A bit tricky to navigate property. No single serve coffee in room, had to make whole pot.

After awhile got comfortable with the room,
Didn't have breakfast for the duration the stay
Didn't use the pool. mostly used for sleep and shower
Television needs to be a bit larger, maybe 40" or bigger. Channels need to have apps log in like netflix, YouTube, Tubi, etc to use during the stay watching TV.
