The staff was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was so nice and polite! The hotel was extremely clean!

Quick check in. Staff is very friendly. Facilities and room extremely clean. Everything in the room worked. Bed and pillows so comfortable. Breakfast was really good and well stocked. Pool area big and well kept.

The staff let me check out and go home at 330pm said would refund for the day asst Mgr said I checked out after 4pm so I would no longer be refunded after already told I would be. I know when I checked out because I was I'm Chancellor SD at 4pm I have call logs to prove it and now they will.not refund so I am canceling my future booking I do not like to be called a liar or lied to.

I'm handicapped and pre-booked a room over 2 weeks in advance. I also notified the hotel 2x that I'd be arriving late with my nurse. When we arrived, I was told that there was no handicapped room available and that they never noticed that I needed one. I was then told that I could receive a refund and go try to find another hotel with a handicapped room. Travelling isn't easy for me and we had already been driving very far which was uncomfortable and exhausting so this was not an option. Also, it was late and the likelihood of finding a handicapped room at that hour by driving around a strange town was also not an option. I was then told that I'd be receiving a refund for the issue but that it would take about 3 days. I never received a refund or any correspondence at all. After waiting 2 weeks, I sent letters to the corporate offices, since the Grand Stay Hotel / Tea had proven to be inept and incapable of dealing professionally with their customers. I received no response from them either. This is no way to operate a business. Handicapped people have NEEDS, not wants and we are people too and should be treated with respect and dignity. This hotel is not the place to stay if you have any special needs, desires, or expectations of professionality.. BTW, You'll receive a text from the hotel prior to your arrival telling you that they are there for you and let them know if you need anything by texting back. DON'T BOTHER! They don't read those either. Oops!

We travel with our 2 dogs. We are very particular and we like a very nice hotel — not a dump! GrandStay was perfect. The staff was cheerful and the waffles were so delicious!
