Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Austin Downtown - University by IHG

Neat and clean rooms. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean, with good lighting on the mirror. Staff at the reception were very friendly. They have a facility for you to keep the luggage for a few hours at the hotel after checkout, which is super useful. Location is terrific.

I loved the location and the service and how clean it was

How it was like a maze getting through the hotel

Hotel was very clean and nice. Good breakfast. Great location.

The Holiday Inn being attached to Hotel Indigo gets confusing. Maybe front desk could come up with some type of map or instructions on how to navigate the two hotels.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good sound proofing of walls. Pool area is very nicely updated with many cabanas and chairs. Right across from Stubb's Ampitheater, so it's a perfect spot if you're in town for a concert there!

This Holiday Inn Express is combined in the same building with Hotel Indigo, though this wasn't clear during booking. This made it very confusing for check-in because it appears that at one time, there were separate elevators and lobbies for each hotel, but now there is only one shared lobby and check-in desk which is in Hotel Indigo. Navigating from the poorly-labeled below-ground parking lot difficult. Parking lot also had an excessive number of valet spots, so returning late at night there almost wasn't space for us to park in the garage at all.
