Nice staff and good community spirit. Comfortable beds. Nice to have the shared kitchen.
The pool is not appealing. The property is dark and dirty and needs a serious overhaul. Bedrooms dark and dank and basic. Bathrooms depressing. Overpriced adult gostel but tahoe is expensive.

We liked the spacious rooms, and the bunk beds were a good feature that our family really enjoyed. We liked the access to the South Lake Tahoe beach area, which was only a couple blocks' walk away, along with the complimentary passes to that beach.
But it would have been better if: a) elevators were present to go up to the room; b) the air conditioner's remote control system had a button that needed to be pushed to really cool the room; I think it was called "enhanced"; c) if a closet was present in the master bedroom.

The location was great, common spaces were well cared for and added amentiites
The rooms were very shabby, hallway stains, paint chips on walls, very bare bones and not very comfortable
