We loved the White Moose Inn. Mai and Barb are the epitome of gracious hostesses. We really enjoyed how welcoming they were; there was amazing communication with them prior to arriving and during our stay.
The room was wonderful. It was calming and comfortable, with every amenity. Mai and Beth even left a bottle of wine for us to celebrate our anniversary. The bed was amazing, the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. There were even robes and slippers!
We enjoyed the complimentary Happy Hour provided (wines and whiskey) where we got to chat with other guests.
The WMI is about a three minute walk from The Inn at Little Washington, where we had our anniversary dinner. WMI is the perfect location to stay so that you can easily walk to the restaurant and back after a sumptuous meal.
A complete morning coffee/tea bar is waiting for you in the common room when you wake up. The breakfast was just right, not heavy, it was filling: yogurt, artisanal granola and fruit, then a personal sized quiche.

Went for a weekend vacation and to dine at Blue Rock Inn.... loved revisiting Inn at LIttle Washington, riding a bike down the street and walking in the neighborhood.

Excellent lodging when having dinner at the Inn at Little Washington. Amanda checked us in and walked us to our room. She explained everything about the location, happy hour and breakfast. We enjoyed a happy hour drink hosted by a friendly and attentive Amanda before we went to dinner. In the morning Jules served us breakfast on the deck and it was amazing. The yogurt, fruit and granola was outstanding and the quiche was delicious. Jules brought us a second pot of coffee as we relaxed and enjoyed the view. Great stay!

We had a great time at the white moose inn. It was clean, cozy and close to everything we wanted to do while in town. The staff were helpful- they set up happy hour for us as soon as we arrived and provided an excellent breakfast as well. We’ll definitely stay here again

This is a great place to stay if you've planning dinner at the Inn at Little Washington, or as a base for exploring Rappahannock county. Calm, restful environment with very friendly staff. Breakfast was much larger than I usually have, but delicious. Lovely outdoor spaces including a large deck and yard.
No major complaints. There is minimal closet space and no hangers available (other than the ones used for the robes that the hotel provides). As with most hotels, it would be great to have more horizontal surfaces in the room itself and the bathroom, but I appreciated bedside tables on both sides of the bed.

Kim is extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms are of good size, the indoor common areas are fine and the outdoor deck with the fire pit is especially good. The included breakfast is both tasty and healthy. The location is excellent - only one block from the Inn at Little Washington.
I have no complaints.
