This was my third stay at the independent Big Chief. This older motel has been refurbished well. Staff is friendly. Included breakfast is adequate. It is a short walk from a good, well-run restaurant/casino, the Owl Club. We will continue to patronize both Big Chief and Owl Club.
For this 2-person stay, room 103 was a tight fit. It is smaller than the others we've stayed in. The price should reflect that. In all rooms, the bathrooms are small and the sink areas are in the room. Toilet & shower are in a small separate space. Breakfast area is part of the small but adequate check-in area. A major, expensive remodel would be required to change these minor elements.

What a great place to stay!! So nice and accommodating. My mom was in a wheelchair and they moved us to the ground floor no problem. Breakfast was delicious and the beds were sooo comfy. Thank you!

Clean and comfortable and quiet!
The alarm in our room was preset by a previous traveler.

The beds were comfortable and appeared clean.
The floors felt dirty underfoot. They looked clean but you could feel the dirt on your feet. We had a small water spill and wiped it up with a towel and the towel was visibly dirty afterwards.
