The actual yurt was quite nice, spacious, clean.

We arrived late, around 9:30. I didn’t know what to expect, as I have never been there, and I was unable to call on the drive there bc cell reception wasn’t available. It’s a very large property, with tent camping in one area, an RV area, small roads with what look like private housing, and very dark. We drove around and around, asking random people where the check-in and the yurts were. FINALLY we found out front of one of the somewhat main-looking buildings, that there were boxes with check-in packets with renters’ names on them. But seriously, I can’t describe how close we were to leaving the area and trying to drive to a nearby town (not many towns nearby) and get a last minute motel room. I wish we would have received a call or email to let us know about the after hours check-in procedures.

Nothing you can do about the heat, not the facilities fault, but the ‘AC’ was really just a fan —maybe it was broken?? Not sure. Fortunately we weren’t there to stay inside the yurt, we were there for the Park

The bed pillows had mouse poop on them. Had to use the futon pillows to sleep.
