A hidden gem close to Algonquin. A last minute decision to go see the fall leaves turned into a wonderful mini vacation, and our stay at Dwight Riverside Inn was so lovely. We booked last minute and everything was ready when we arrived, even a fire going in the common area. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Not to be missed is the Riverside walk at the back of the property. So tranquil. Dan is an excellent host.
For other traveller's... the gas station and grocery store in Dwight closes early evening... coming from a bigger city we got stuck thinking we'd find something to eat after 8pm. Not a reflection on the property... it's just a small town ♡.

Staying in a Glamping Tent was really a nice experience. It was comfortable to have an ensuite bathroom. Mattress and duvet were really good. Coffee, tea equipment and water were provided. The little fridge came in handy.
Bear in mind that you don't have solid walls. Sound travels and our first night we did not sleep well because of the neighbours in another tent, which is not the owners fault. Second night was pretty quiet.
A few hooks in the bedroom for hanging some clothes would be a pratical addition.

the room and bed was very comfy
Landscape wasn't the greatest ... very weedy has lots of mosquitos
we were let into out room but left no key so we had no way of leaving our room or any way of locking it,... if we wanted to go to the store that evening. no air conditioning in our room glad it was a cold evening.
