Price and location...ease and time of checking in to getting into room. (Nice to see fridge and microwave in room...even when we didn't use them.
The "continental" breakfast... offered only bagels and fruit loops cereal. But did have a toaster and cream cheese. Also sunny delight orange drink and coffee, but we never saw staff ( front desk and small area with 2 bar stools seemed wierd.)
I'd rate the experience an 8.

Comfortable. Close to restaurants, marina, etc

This is an old school motel where you can drive up to your door. It is not a luxury motel, but it is clean and comfortable.
It is only a couple blocks from a clean and well-maintained beach and all the things it has to offer. Miniature golf, food, ice cream and a skate park.

Bed was ok and sheets were clean. Price was ok.
Bathroom wasn't clean enough. The host wasn't friendly. We did not feel welcome.
