Packwood is a lovey little town with lots of cool places to eat and drink. - that was the highlight of staying here

The location was perfect for getting to Mt Rainier. It was easy to get around the territory and to nearby town for dinner.
Our room was on the second floor and it was difficult for us to carry our luggage up the stairs.

There are few choices on this side of Mt Rainier National Park. Be prepared to book well in advance to have better choices. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
It was apparent that some updating had been done, but not in a professional manner. The A/C was quite loud and had to be turned off during the night. The furnishings were definitely eclectic (a collection of mismatched articles). Two of the three light bulbs in the bathroom were burned out so it was quite dreary. The refrigerator was missing a couple of shelves and the door to the freezer compartment, but luckily still worked. Definitely overpriced for what it was. Overall, an okay stay for one night in a clean room. Beggars can't be choosers.
