The Yellow House is well located to visit a variety of very impressive local museums (American House Cat Museum and Wheels Through Time among many) as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Cradle of Forestry Museum and many hiking trails and waterfalls. It is close to Asheville as well. The staff is excellent and friendly. The area is peaceful and quite. The breakfasts were delicious and different each day as were the snacks in the room.
I don't have any complaints about The Yellow House.

From the drive up towards the house this bed and breakfast captures your heart . We then had the warmest of welcomes from Chad one of the owners and were given a tour of the house .
Our room was stunning, romantic and homely with amazing bath facilities, kitchen area and a fire so that when you had enjoyed a wine on the veranda and rocking chairs into the evening you could come in and get warm around the fire .
We will never forget this place .
