No breakfast
Well used but clean room. Needs remodeled.

This motel was like a classic old time motor lodge. The room had the largest king-sized bed I have ever seen. The patchwork quilt on the bed was not expected, but I really liked it. The sheets were also not the ugly plain white, but a tasteful patter to blend with the quilt. The walk-in shower was great, an actual coffee pot with China mugs and fresh ground coffee was perfect. We did not use the ear plugs to mute train noise, though we did hear the train passing several times. Sticky door and all things considered this was a great place to get off the road. A plus is that my car was outside my door.

Staff very nice. Location great. Bed was small but comfortable.
Bathroom a bit small.

A little dated but comfortable enough
The carpet rough underfoot.

"It was an iconic Route 66 motel but well preserved and maintained. The check in was quick and the manager even helped carry my suitcase to the room!"
