Interesting building with a cool vibe. Good location. Comfortable bed. Excellent restaurant.

Given the price of the room, the fact that we had given plenty of advance notice and the good availability of gluten-free and dairy-free foods within Beacon, it was disappointing that my dietary requirements were not fully catered for with the in-room breakfast. I had to buy my own dairy-free yogurt and gluten-free granola.

Lovely location. We've eaten at the outdoor restaurant many times over the past few years, so we we interested in booking a short stay at the hotel. It's a beautiful building and our room was, overall, nice.

We were offered a king-size bed when we asked to move our room to a higher floor. What we got was a Queen-sized bed with a King frame. Very odd, and of course I bumped into the outsize, unprotected frame one night and was left with a king-size bruise! I told the staff about it when we checked out. They didn't have anything to say. No, “I'm sorry to hear that,” or “Let me check that out.” The other odd thing was the "Continental" breakfast. On the second day of our stay we were missing the O.J., yogurt, etc. that should have been left in fridge. But we got the muffins. Since it was checkout day, we went out to have a lovely breakfast at Beacon Falls Cafe. We can always eat at The Roundhouse restaurant, which remains a favorite of ours. But the hotel, as lovely as the building and grounds are, disappointed a bit.

Easy and fast check in process, comfortable room and a great bed. We keep returning yearly and appreciate the great quality.

The bathroom has a barn door which does not really provide any privacy. Was surprised to see that the breakfast is still on the in-room protocol.
