New England Inn & Lodge

Staff was friendly. The room was clean. We were in a cabin so there was not noise from others or slamming of doors. Water in the shower was hot quickly. There was a restaurant on property and we got moved to the front of the wait list just because we were staying there (wait was 45-60 minutes).

The beds were not comfortable. The shower head sprayed water all over. The shower was slippery once you used the liquid soap.

The lodge was clean ,comfortable,quiet and a peaceful place to get away from the chaos.The staff at the Inn were wonderful, friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately tavern was closed during our stay. We will be sure to come back in the middle to latter part of the week when the Tavern is open, So that we can enjoy the the Tavern as well.

The room was very spacious and clean. Well stocked with towels, coffee, cups, pillows. Bed was comfy. Nice size fridge with ice box section. Jacuzzi whirlpool tub in the room.

Only one suggestion is leaving a tv channel guide in the room

It was in a convenient location.

Kind of dirty. My girlfriend is Latina, and to be honest, a few staff members were subtly racist. Kind of ridiculous. We didn’t get a non European descent discount. Very disappointing. People in that geographical region depend on tourism to keep their economy running. Not good “ business sense.”No housekeeping service unless you stay over a week. And the pool was filthy, outdated and the heater was “ being worked on.” No apology, nothing. I certainly wouldn’t go back, and definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Booking.Com should either address the issues with staff, or discontinue their arrangement with the facility.
