It provided shelter for us, and coffee in the morning!

The coffee was good. Shower was hot. The guy at the front desk called another hotel to find us another room for my daughter.

It smelled like old, stale, cigarette smoke. It could use some updating!

Pleasant

Clean room. Quite basic, but spacious. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly.

Hotel is plain and a bit dated. Could use some updating and repairs. Perhaps a designer could match the furnishings better to make it more aesthetically appealing. It would not take much to do that.

Great location in centre-town. Rooms were spacious and reasonably clean.

The bathroom was not amazing nor renovated but clean.

We liked it better than more modern Best Western next to harbor dock where we stayed one night for Stan Steven’s day cru

Location convenient to everything, beautiful Mountain View, clean, quiet and comfortable bed, great breakfast, attentive staff

Lobby entrance could be updated, some exterior maintenance needed, but it’s Alaska, good value.

Convenient for all the things we were doing in the area

Old and very utilitarian. No elevator so that was a little hard as I had just had knee surgery

Very dated. Room was fairly small. No AC and it was very warm. Did get a little fan from the front desk

Management out of his mind trying to justify it is normal to copy your ID and credit card… first time it happens to me,

Location, by foot to the harbor and restaurants

By management policy, they copy your ID and credit card, now you know.

Superb

The location was good and the bed was comfortable. The view of course. Within walking distance of breweries and dining so you don't have to drive if u get tipsy. Close to the docks for any glacier tours.

I didnt see an elevator to get to the second floor....just stairs.

Glacier Hotel is an clean and comfortable non-luxury option for Valdez

Breakfast was good, with fresh cooked choices including waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc., plus cereal

Beds could be a little firmer, place is a bit run down, but it's clean and comfortable.

It was ok, the staff was great

Breakfast was great. Location was great.

Our blanket was ripped and the bathroom countertop was not good and the fridge raider froze our food.

Would like to come back.

We stayed here for 3 night and liked it. The hotel was clean, comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. Their parking space is big too. We loved to hear the chef sing country music at breakfast time every morning. He has a good voice! Thanks
