Olde Town Inn

Great location and very eclectic. Live music downstairs, plenty of room to socialize, and it has off street parking.

No breakfast, as this is a "Bed and Bar"! The Fox's Lair a few steps down from the entry was a happy discovery and one of the unique places to go for good music and a congenial group of regulars and visitors. Our room- #3 was comfortable and a little quirky- having been created within an historic home. Furnishings were tastefully curated, water was HOT, and the stairs to the upper floor was interesting. No elevator, but then that would have been out of character with the historic home. The City is working through a major underground utilities project, thus the front of the house on Telfar Street is not easy to negotiate, but the Owner was very specific about how to reach the very accessible and large rear parking area leading to the rear Garden Entry and Courtyard. Coffee Maker in room and also in Main Hall- perhaps an offering of baked goods in the mornng would be a good idea, as there did not seem to be walkable breakfast eateries nearby. The stairs were an effort for our 80-year old bodies, but it is a good experience and well priced value.

Stairs

The location is truly one of a kind. The hostess is so friendly and welcoming. She remembered me from a five minute interaction three years ago. The staff is incredible. Will definetly stay again. The room is incredibly cozy, and despite the heat being in the high 90s, the room was a delightful reprieve.

This isn't even something I didn't like, this is just something that I'm not even sure she'd have the opportunity to notice on her own, but the shower head had one errant stream that sprayed the wall, which was easily accomodated by closing the curtain a certain way. Also the freezer portion of the mini fridge didn't actually keep the food frozen but that's more on me for trying it. The fridge itself kept food cold perfectly.

Unique bar tender who checked us in was outstanding The foxes lair was closed unfortunately but maybe better it would have been very loud I think We were only ones in the house Didn’t sleep well however lots of noises and train decided to blow horn continuously for about 20 min at 2 am. It was as if it was taken your kid to work day and let him play with train horn

Could have used some better white linens and blanket Crackheads in parking lot asking for things when we left in am scared me a bit
