This is not some hidden gem. You get what you pay for. Beds are fine. Pots and pans need to be upgraded. Worth the price tho

I liked having a full size kitchen in there and I really like how the room came with books to read in case you got bored, unlike most places

The smell, it seems like the couches kind of smelled musty. it wasn't too bad though, it seemed like it should just be sprayed with couch cleaner or Febreze to help remove the smell. Also the bathroom heater stinks when we would turn it on, it seems like it just needs to be cleaned. The air vent in the bathroom was broken too and not turning on. But these are all minor things, all in all it was a great stay.

If I had wanted to bathe in muddy water, swim in a cloudy pool and get my drinking water from plastic bottles,, I would have gone camping. Shabby, dark, damp condo: introduction was by falling over a curled up rubber mat, shelving in fridge broken and duct taped ( which fell off), freezer compartment so encrusted with ice that it was unusable, hardware missing on cabinets, drinking water muddy, pool needed treatment, etc. Definitely not as advertised. Most egregious was the don't give as damn attitude of VACASA. It is also of note that though I Emailed TRW, the local property managers, I recieved no response.

The hot water heater broke and we did not have hot water. After maintenance told us it could not be fixed, we called Vacasa (rental agency). After a long day of skiing, we waiting 3+ hrs with hungry children before they finally got back to us at nearly 7pm, saying there was nothing they were willing to do. In addition to do nothing to help us find a place to shower, the representative from Vacasa criticized me for contacting the maintenance company directly, despite there multiple posted directions to do so, throughout the condo, including the phone number to the maintenance company. Vacasa offerred a $50 credit (on a $400+/nt rental), or to relocate us to a completely different town, 25 minutes away. We rented trailside, and paid a premium for the location. We traveled for a short weekend ski trip, and it was ruined with completely inadequate accommodations, and an unhelpful rental company. We called the Okemo Resort at Jackson Gore, explained what happened, and they offered to let us use their club house to shower. They didn't seem surprised that Vacasa had handled it this way. Next time we will book directly with Jackson Gore and NEVER BOOK WITH A VACASA PROPERTY.
