A very unique building, beautiful inside. A grand ball room they have events in. It is attached to a great Irish Pub and also a lounge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt like I didn’t find the place, it found me.
It’s sad to see everywhere but the homeless population is high. In a positive light, no one approached me, no panhandling, they stayed to themselves. Sad.

This was a quirky property, I’ve never stayed at this kind of hotel. That said, it was a nice hotel, the bed was comfy and the ability to walk thru the building into Gallagher Irish pub was perfect. And their food was awesome!!!
The area seemed to be attempting a revitalization in the town. However there were a lot of homeless people around. I would never have wandered outside the property.

Staff were helpful, location was good easy walk to Downtown Eureka and easy access to highway. The bar was enjoyable and Gallaghers food was good. While we didn't partake the afternoon tea looked nice. Breakfast was fine, bagels and pastries were not the cellophane wrapped ones but actual fresh.
You have to request to have your room "done up" the night before at the desk. There was no glass of wine on arrival. Heat is an electric radiator and A/C is a fan. As the weather was warm the room was stuffy. The rooms on the inside look out on the ballroom and was very dark even with a skylight. The room felt and looked worn, I love old hotels and expected this one to be more kept up. The bathroom had been recently remodeled and was very nice. The price we paid for the room was not equivalent to the room or amenities.
