Waldo Emerson Inn

Super cozy old house that has been beautifully done up. Our host was most welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was very comfortable with a good bathroom.

Not much. The house is a short drive from Kennenbukport. You could hear the traffic from the road from our room but it didn't really bother us.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Waldo Emerson Inn. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming and incredibly well thought out. The staff were fantastic and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay special. The breakfast deserves a special mention — it was honestly one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared and clearly made with so much care. We also loved the thoughtful extras that made the inn feel so unique, especially the fire and the honesty bar. Those little touches created such a cosy, relaxed atmosphere and made it feel like a real home away from home. It’s clear that a huge amount of thought goes into the guest experience here, and it really shows. We would absolutely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Waldo Emerson Inn to anyone looking for somewhere special, welcoming and full of character.

Nothing loved every minute, would 100% stay again or recommend

Great owners who did everything to make our stay comfortable

Everything was great

The inn is amazing, beautiful, historic and cozy. It is very well-kept, making you walk into history and tradition. Amelia and Ron offer a warm welcome that makes it relaxing to walk around the inn. Offering bikes and beach equipment is a must: they're of high quality and comfort.

Maybe replacing the mattress could be a good idea. The inn can become somehow smelly due to bacon cooking (btw, the breakfasts are amazingly delicious).
