Hotel El Juglar

It's just the right bang for buck. It's an old hotel in an old town. But the rooms where clean, the bed was fine and the bathroom was alsof big enough. We could park te car right next to the hotel and it's just a 5 minute stroll into the town. Check in was easy, there was a tiny fridge in de room and this hotel is perfect for one or two nights. The hotel is just perfect if you are visiting wineries in the area. There are 5 wineries within the city boundries and you could even visit them by foot.

The hotel is old yes, and a bit noisy. But be prepared and bring earplugs. You'll be fine! There where some harsh reviews on this website but to be honest, the hotel is just what it is. Sleep here and don't get anymore expectations.

Free parking, clean room, good location.

Vending machine instead of a bar and not being told of the options for breakfast…..other customers were given different breakfast options which we weren’t told about.

The service was great.

The location, in the middle of a residential area, noisy traffic. The terrace had a poor view over suburbia. The 5 minute walk into town didn’t compensate for the noisy streets. The rooms weren’t well insulated so very aware of other guests, TV’s playing, showers etc. The overall experience didn’t live up to our expectations when booking the place. Sorry but it wasn’t for us.
