Le Floralp

The place is about 15min walk or 3 drive to the city centre and facing mountains with cowbells so very tranquil. My apartment was large but old with big furniture (4 ppl table in bedroom).

The hotel is old so everything comes through the walls the neighbour woke me at 6am... There is a big flight of stairs to reach reception and no lift inside so dragging suitcase to 2nd was no joke. No one is ever at reception but they reply over phone.

The location and view was exceptional! The staff was extremely helpful

Tremendous value for money

The room was clean & comfortable and spacious.

For self catering it was lacking on basic equipment (no shower curtain or bath matt so flooded floor every time you had a shower, no sharp knife or even a bread knife, no hairdryer). My main complaint however is that despite being advertised as such, it was by no stretch of the imagination ski to door or ski in ski out. It wasn’t even close to a bus stop - 13 min walk away. We had wifi for the first day and then it didn’t work at all and we never ever saw any staff members in reception or around to speak to. We could have called a number but it’s much easier and more customer friendly to speak to someone face to face.
