Location and cleanliness. Good space and room to stretch out. Walk to restaurants and local shopping.
Steep stairs, no elevator. Loud music at night from the club downstairs in the complex.

Perfect location and very helpful host. Apartment was LARGE a with all necessary things. Way better than any hotel room!
The apartment is just above the restaurant so on warm summer days it gets pretty hot.

Downtown location near the docks. Good food in the area. Host was responsive when checking in. Friendly. Good value compared to hotel and motel room price. Charm of Kodiak Island living.
Lots of homeless people hanging out in the area. No black out curtains in the land of the midnight sun? Made it hard to sleep. No fan - but was offered one. One window didn’t have a screen. No AC which was fine but could hear the people fighting or screaming. Broken refrigerator door handle.
