Clean, well maintained and the breakfast offerings, while basic, are a bonus you don’t normally get at a motel. Very friendly, helpful staff.
The price. This is an expensive part of the world and it’s hard to find anything cheaper but well over £200 for a basic - albeit clean - motel seems excessive.

It was in a beautiful location, away from the noisy dock area. Room was very clean and comfortable. It was an easy 20 minute walk to town. Rachel, the owner, was very nice and helpful. There was a fire pit in back which was nice to sit around in the evening.

It was clean.
I’m mixed about sharing this but Location was not walkable to village despite some of the reviews. I could have walked it during the day but I was with my mother and we had to drive. I wouldn’t have wanted to walk the distance at night. I do salute the effort by the owners to improve the property but the rating seems out of proportion to the value and location. Bathroom was tiny and toilet was short like a kiddy potty.
