I am writing this detailed review so that travelers like me can find truly useful information. We had never stayed in an apartment before, but hotel prices in Rome are exorbitant, so we decided to give apartment rentals a try. We were drawn to this option by its low price and location. You might come across mixed reviews online mentioning that the bathroom is located outside the room; the reason for this is that the two-bedroom apartment is sometimes rented out in its entirety (as was the case for us) and sometimes just by the room. Location: I can highly recommend the Prati neighborhood. It is safe, clean, and has excellent transport links. A direct shuttle bus to/from the airport (operated by Sitbus for €7 or Terravision for €6) stops just a 7-minute walk from the apartment. You can easily walk to the historic center; while it looks far on the map, it’s actually only a 30-minute walk. The Vatican is about a 10-minute walk away. Pros: The apartment is very quiet. All the windows face an inner courtyard, so there is no street noise. If you rent the entire apartment, you won't be disturbed by housemates; the whole place is yours. There is a full kitchen with a stove and refrigerator. The hosts provide complimentary fruit, water, Coke, and juice upon arrival. Tips: There is a small Pam Local grocery store at the back of the building where you can buy water, alcohol, and other essentials—very convenient. Also nearby is the Il Gianfornaio café, where we had delicious and affordable breakfasts. It’s a hidden gem. I highly recommend it. Also, right nearby is an authentic gelateria called Guttilla Alta Gelateria Italiana – PRATI, offering a wide selection of delicious ice cream. For dinner, we discovered an amazing restaurant called Ai Balestrari In Prati, which has reasonable prices and delicious food. On the other hand, another café called Bakery House – Prati near the Vatican was disappointing due to high prices and hidden surcharges.

Cons: I want to point out right away that this is a budget-friendly rental; the décor is simple and dated, and the bathroom is in serious need of renovation. Don't expect a comfortable mattress (it’s a squeaky spring model) or nice feather pillows (they are flat and uncomfortable). You need to be prepared for this.

Great location very near the Vatican, nice area full of lovely cafes and restaurants. Clean, spacious with air conditioning 🩷

Separate toilet and shower but in the end only for our use.

Sicuramente la posizione è ottima per raggiungere moltissimi luoghi da visitare anche a piedi; abbiamo trovato ottima la disponibilità dello staff e dei responsabili puntualissimi nella comunicazione.

La vicinanza al centro di Roma e stanza ampia

Il bagno al di fuori della stanza con corridoio comune con altre stanze adiacenti, al momento della prenotazione non abbiamo trovato questa indicazione specifica. Bagno da rimodernare. Copriletti da cambiare, si vedevano macchie di usura. Alle 4 di notte é suonato il citofono insistentemente. Sembra un ostello
