Alghero Roof Garden

Dario and Margherita were both lovely hosts. Chatty and inviting throughout, we loved our stay there and would love to revisit someday. The location is perfect, a short walk from the old town with some great bars just at the end of the street.

Well appointed room. Nice balcony. Lovely breakfast area.

The owners were very welcoming, the location was ideal and so close to everything and the room was bright, clean and comfy.

There wasn’t anything to dislike.

Our stay at this property was quite turbulent. Be aware that it is absolutely not suitable if you need a quiet working space during your stay. The only common area is the terrace, which becomes very hot in the summer—and to make matters worse, the internet doesn’t work there. The room we were assigned was small for 2 ppl having to work. During a client call I was taking quietly in the corridor, the owner approached me and shouted that I had only paid for a room and therefore couldn’t sit in the corridor while I was having my mic on. This is unacceptable. After that, they put in our room a little table with a folding chair, which was a nice gesture but didn’t erase what happened before. Throughout our stay, he also made multiple unnecessary comments about other guests, which was both unprofessional and uncomfortable. Overall, a disappointing experience.
