The villa was the perfect location in Tuscany for our family reunion. We could not have imagined a villa that was more perfect and the views of the countryside and nearby hilltop village were astounding. The villa is a little remote (down a rough road about a kilometre from the main road) but that all just added to the feeling of getting away from it all and immersing ourselves in the Tuscan countryside. Panzano and Greve (with their shops and restaurants) are only about a 10 and 15 minute drive respectively. A car is a must (taxis are difficult to arrange) and something like a small SUV is probably best to handle the road (which is in fact an old Roman road!). We did the circular walk of around 8km/5 miles ,which passes the villa, twice while we were there. It is hilly and a stop for lunch or a wine tasting is definitely justified. The villa is extremely comfortable and well equipped. The outside dining table and seating area is fantastic and we spent most of our time there (plus of course the great pool). Finally, our host Tessa was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any queries. We hope to return again.

This was the most beautiful place. The house was great for our family of four and my brother and his wife. It has the most beautiful view of any we saw traveling through Chianti the four days we were there. There are walking trails close to the house that take you into Greve or into the closer, smaller, walled town of Montefioralle. Go to Il Guerrino while you’re there. The food and the view were both fabulous. The house is so beautiful and relaxing. The kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked. It is on a gravel road…but it’s an old Roman road.we also loved visiting the Badia di Passignano nearby. So many beautiful spots to uncover. We would have moved right in if we could.

The pictures don't lie – it’s a wonderful house with an amazing view and a fantastic outdoor area, perfect for lounging by the pool and enjoying the evenings outside. Communication with the host was excellent; they were super responsive whenever we had questions. For anyone on a cycling holiday: just be aware that the access road is a bit steep and graveled, but still completely fine to bike on.

Fantastic and roomy property with gorgeous views and obviously updated recently with modern conveniences and comfortable beds! We cooked at home two nights and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. One night we had a delightful dinner prepared in home by the host’s recommended cook. I would highly recommend that!! The pool is a short walk from the main house and has amazing views and comfortable chairs. The property was a little more remote than we anticipated but we loved staying in since everything was so gorgeous and were still able to walk to and from lunch one day.
