Beautifull exterior, nice pool with salty water, amazing and helpfull lady at the reception, good variety of breakfast and overall amazing and smilling staff! I miss them already.
The room with the bathroom was pretty small for a family of 4 adults but I would say that it is my mistake for booking one room only.

Overall, the stay was okay and the experience was generally positive, although the hotel was not quite what I expected from the pictures.
The facilities are clean and functional, with everything you need for a basic stay. They are somewhat dated, but reasonably well maintained. The pool and garden aren't particularly large, but they are clean and well kept.
The location is definitely a plus. The beach is less than a 10-minute walk away, down the street, so it's very convenient if you're mainly looking for easy access to the coast, but I must say there are plenty of other hotels better placed.
The staff gave mixed impressions. Some were extremely friendly and helpful, while others seemed noticeably grumpy or unwelcoming. So it really depended on who you happened to interact with.
The hotel looked considerably better in the pictures than it does in reality, and I only realised after arriving that it was a 1-star hotel. That's on me for not checking more carefully beforehand.
That said, I don't think the current rating of around 8/10 reflects the actual experience. In my opinion, it's closer to a 6. The room was extremely small and had several awkward changes in floor level. The bathroom, for example, was around 20 cm higher than the rest of the room, creating a significant step. Apart from being inconvenient even for someone with no mobility issues, this is a serious accessibility concern. A guest using a wheelchair would likely find the room impossible to navigate.
We also had to pay extra for air conditioning. In Spain, in a coastal location where summer temperatures can easily reach 35°C or more, I find it difficult to understand why AC is treated as a premium feature. It's a bit like being asked to pay extra for heating in Russia. In this climate, especially near the sea, I would consider air conditioning a basic expectation rather than an optional upgrade.
The biggest disappointment, however, was definitely the breakfast. This is where the 1-star classification became very apparent. It felt like everything had been kept as cheap as possible. The bread was old, and the quality of the coffer, cold cuts and other ingredients was very poor. I was honestly surprised to see so many positive comments about the breakfast.
I'm Italian and live in Barcelona, so I'm used to Spanish food and to what you can reasonably expect from a hotel breakfast in Spain. After the first day, my partner and I decided to have breakfast elsewhere for the rest of our stay.
Overall, it's a cheap and functional place that does the job if you mainly care about the location and don't expect much from the hotel itself.
