Hotel Royal Hill

Hotel in the second coast line but still with the amazing sea and mountains view, located in very friendly and safe area, close to the coast promenade, beaches, restaurants, markets etc. Formula with breakfast and dinner is a perfect choice - especially dinners were amazing, every day different traditional delicious Turkish meals, soups, lots of fresh vegetables and fruits, and of course Turkish sweets (baklava, etc.) Very kind and helpful staff, mostly speaking english, great room cleaning service; Beach towels available;

No coffee set in the room - coffee only from the hotel bar - awful and of course paid; Noise from the street - windows and balcony door were NOT soundproof at all - very loud live music from the nearby beach club till 1.00am every single night and trash truck collecting bins every morning even at 6.30am effectively made your rest time really short; Although well maintained, hotel needs renewal - rooms are old, furniture and equipment is outdated; Paid beach towels;

Proximity to the beach, lots of places to eat close by, staff extremely helpful (Murat at breakfast especially)

Partying late night so bit noisy

The location is simply the best - just steps away from the main busy / exciting boardwalk, but tucked away in a quiet zone. Good restaurants nearby, like 50m away. Beach is another 20m away. Breakfast is very good, fresh and plentiful. Although the evening crew makes much better tea. Prices for everything they suggest are reasonable - we checked eg excursions and the prices w local vendors were higher. All their excursions (Pamukala, Maldives, etc) were very good They've arranged taxi, laundry and other services for us, all very convenient. Speak English and Russian. Overall, they were like a family to themselves, and just seemed very happy and competent, and friendly to us. We stayed for a week, and will surely return to that same place - just a gem of a find. We did check 3 other hotels nearby before booking this one, and this is heads and shoulders better than the others (location, price, service, AC, ...)
