Absolutely loved our stay here. From the staff, to the facilities and how beautiful the Riad was. Shout out to Abdelazuz and Jamila what wonderful welcoming people they both are they made our stay feel like a home away from home. We are already planning our next visit and will choose to stay at this accomodation again.

Nothing everything was wonderful

Riad L’Etoile D’Orient is a very nice establishment, with comfortable rooms and excellent staff. It is conveniently located within the Medina but only a 2 minute walk from Jemaa El Fnaa square. You can be in the craziness of the square and then back in peaceful Riad very quickly. The bathrooms are excellent, with high quality linens and bedding. The rooms are smartly designed to maximize space, have modern AC, multiple lighting options and ample storage. Breakfast on the roof top was great, Abdul Aziz was very attentive and friendly. Azzedine at the front desk provided us with useful information about the area, what attractions to visit, an estimate of walking times, as well as what to avoid and be cautious of. His communication was excellent and his advice helped prepare us before venturing into the Medina. He also helped to arrange a local porter to meet us when we first arrived as cars cannot enter the square after the morning.

Location was absolutely excellent. It was close to everything. But you felt like you were very far away at the same time. I really enjoyed the breakfast. It was very filling and got my day started off in a wonderful way. The room that I had was a little small compared to other roads I had been in. I really enjoyed the modern take on Riad. It was very refreshing to see.

The room could’ve been a little bigger, but I really loved the hammam and hot tub. I really don’t have anything else to say about things I didn’t like.

Great location

There's always somebody inside during the day so there's no privacy. Also , breakfast is not great, there's a fridge already filled in with ready to heat pancakes and stuff but it's not the same as freshly prepared. You can ask for an omelet so that's OK but no fresh veggies or fruits, canned juice. There's coffee maker and in theory you can go and prepare it yourself but it's just strange as there's always somebody in the kitchen and you just feel like you shouldn't go there. I was buying coffee somewhere else. Rooms are OK, good for bigger groups I guess. Although a bit shabby, everything was clean. Major disappointment I guess was the fact that even though you rent whole property , you still feel like in a "bed and breakfast " type of place. Ohhh and one thing, there's a lovely terrace but there's no sun shades or umbrellas there. It's just a small thing but would make a huuuge difference, otherwise after 9am in the sun it's impossible tho stay there. All in all it was OK, just not the perfect Riad experience I was hoping for.
