Great location in the mountains with no digital signal so peace and quiet

Gorgeous campsite. Staff were super friendly and couldn’t help enough. Tents were spacious, whole site is clean, safe and had great amenities. We were upgraded to a tent with a bathroom and it is absolutely worth it, so cosy and quiet. Perfect stay for us. Plenty of activities to do like sports, quizzes and smores. Our tent was up in the trees and it was incredible, lovely fire, shower etc was good, bed was super comfy. Honestly can’t recommend enough. Only a short drive back to the great smoky mountains NP.

Die Zeltlandschaft ist schön gelegen. Sehr ruhig. Gute Erholung möglich.
Kein Internet.
In der Nacht haben Leute nach 12 Uhr eingecheckt. Dadurch konnten wir nicht schlafen (Mein Vorschlag: nach 10 Uhr sollten keine neuen Kunden zugelassen werden)

Totally wonderful staff. Unusual and pleasant experience with being close to the nature -- like in scout times ;) Close proximity to the National Park. Surprisingly good breakfast and dinner menus. Nice "lobby" tent, with a guitar you are free to play, tables, places to charge your electronics, and complimentary coffee and tea.
Well, I know that offering no WiFi is intentional by Under Canvas. But I also had no Xfinity coverage at that place, what made my stay actually very stressful, and requiring multiple trips to Pigeon Forge. And I missed one important emergency contact, what made my stay actually very bad at the end. Disconnection is a state of mind rather than enforcing no physical contact with the world. So if you are running a business, or have workers / students that may need you sparse yet reliable help, this is not place for you. I think that offering an emergency even low-speed WiFi, only in the lobby, would make this place ideal. Who wants to totally disconnect -- will do it. Who needs to make sure everything is running well at home / in the office -- will have a better sleep. I and my wife know we will not be returning to Under Canvas in the future. This stay was too stressful due to lack of so simple thing to offer, especially when you pay $420 per two-person tent per night (+ $50 of taxes) -- it's too much for what you are getting.
