The facilities were fabulous the pool and beach were beautiful and in the heart of town

Our room backed onto a bar/restaurant so was very noisy but was ok

No jacuzzi and it was not clear at all

The property is located in the center of Santa Maria. It has a good sized pool and its on the beach. Staff were great, mostly friendly and helpful. The room size is good and it has everything you’d need. There is security at each entrance of the residential area. Basically you wouldn’t have to leave the complex if you wanted to. In fact there is a bar and a restaurant, a pool and you can access the beach directly from the pool. Just across the street there is also a mini market.

Although the room has everything someone could need, the mattress is awful, the pillows too and it wasn’t very clean, at least for my standard. We often found cockroaches, tiny ants everywhere and the maids weren’t thorough. For instance the hotel lost power, and the fridge leaked all the melted ice. Of course there was water everywhere, which we had to clean with towels that were left on the floor all dirty and sandy to the very last day. Regarding the mattress: I sleep like a rock everywhere but for somebody with back issues, the bed situation could present a problem. You can feel each and every spring trying to enter your body. In addition, the big glass doors had zero insulation noise wise. Even though there is security at each entrance. people are just walking through the complex freely to go from one point to another. That was a problem for us because we didn’t feel safe to leave our diving equipment outside to dry, in fact once we had left our wetsuits outside and we were suggested from one of the security guy to put them inside because random people were walking through the complex. So my question is: what’s the point of having security?
